Why Now Is The Time To Declutter
Here’s a common question we’ve been asking. When can you meet indoors? From today (Monday, 17th May) is the answer. This is why a declutter now is important.
Decluttering your house is a very satisfying job. It’s a practical thing to do at any time of year and 80% of us say having a declutter makes them feel better.
As well as being good for our wellbeing, it’s an opportunity to free up space which was previously being occupied by clutter.
And don’t forget that you can call out CBS Waste to help with any waste disposal and be assured that we are responsible with your clutter meaning that it will not be fly tipped.
Here are the reasons why we should roll our sleeves up and get our house in order.
To Be A Good Host
The Rule of Six applies again indoors and no-one wants to welcome friends and family into a house full of junk. With social distancing still a consideration, there needs to be enough space so that people can spread out. Plus we won’t feel embarrassed having people round if the house is tidy.
Having too much clutter in your house can have a bad effect on us and we don’t always realise this. Some experts even say that a decluttered house means a decluttered mind and a clear out can give you a sense of freedom.
Reduce Your Workload
A house that’s not full of clutter is much easier to maintain. Therefore your list of household chores won’t take as long to complete if your home is more organised. And you won’t have to spend as much time looking for items you’ve lost.
